Project Brief
Metalend.tech, branded as MetaLend, is a DeFi yield and lending management platform that helps users find and deposit into thousands of DeFi pools from one place, compare opportunities across protocols and networks, and manage positions through a unified experience. The redesign goal was to create a modern, user friendly product UI that simplifies complex DeFi actions and builds trust through clarity.
Problem Statement
DeFi products fail when the interface feels risky, confusing, or too technical. Metalend needed a clear experience that helps users discover yield opportunities, understand what they are doing before depositing, and manage assets confidently after deposit. With a large surface area and data heavy screens, the product required strong information hierarchy, transparent states, and a scalable component system.
Problem 1
Decision overload. Users had to compare too many pools, chains, and yield options, which created analysis paralysis and slowed deposits.
Problem 2
Trust and risk perception. When money is involved, unclear copy, hidden fees, or unclear protocol context can instantly reduce conversion and retention.
Problem 3
Management complexity after deposit. Users needed a clean way to track positions, performance, and next actions without feeling lost in DeFi jargon.
Solution
The product experience was redesigned around three pillars: discover with confidence, deposit with clarity, manage with control. The UI emphasizes guided decision making, transparent details before committing funds, and a dashboard that makes portfolio monitoring feel simple even when the underlying protocols are complex.

A structured search and filtering experience for yield pools, with readable comparisons and clear primary actions so users can move from browsing to deposit faster.
